All aluminum roof options start with the same basic structure, either an Pan Roof or an Insulated Roof Panel.
The manner in which you attach it to your existing structure dictates the shape of the new roof. This one is a low pitch roof attached to the fascia (overhang). The ceiling height is set by the existing fascia height.

When you need more height, several options are available. This method uses a gutter and a riser section.
My favorite option is to build a gable (pitched) roof.
